The Hmong Gift Shop

The gift shop displays and educates about the beauty of the Hmong art and its culture. The gift shop is full of bright colors and beautiful unique patterns express by each Hmong tribe (e. g. , the strip tribe, the black tribe, and the green tribe). The gift shop provides a place for the new generation of Hmongs, who does not have the skills to make these outfits and various traditional products for themselves or their children, to come and purchase them. It is also a great way to educate the general public who is interested in learning about the Hmong arts and crafts.

Sewing and cross-stitch classes

The sewing and cross-stitch classes were started as a way of keeping the art alive and educating Hmong children between the ages of 9 and 12 of the beauty of the Hmong culture. The classes teach the youngsters how to cut and put together a traditional Hmong outfits decor with symbolic cross-stitch patches on the sleeves and collars.
