Hmong American Friendship Association, Inc. (HAFA) is a non-profit
service and cultural agency funded by non-profit institutions and government
agencies. We work in collaboration with other programs and agencies to serve
members of the Southeastern Asian population in the Greater Milwaukee County
area.
Programs for the Elderly are funded by:
- The Milwaukee Department on Aging
- The Wisconsin Department of Health and Human Services
- The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, Office of Refugee

Case Management

- Assistance with accessing healthcare services, Social Security benefits,

Elders in our community benefit from the following services:
- Sewing classes
- Citizenship classes
- Micro-business enterprises specializing in traditional handicrafts
- Food Pantry
Energy Assistance
Through a partnership with WE Energies and Milwaukee County, HAFA provides
financial assistance, conducts educational workshops, and promotes
weatherization programs.
Family Strengthening Programs
Domestic violence can affect us at any time in life. Elders experiencing
problems with emotional or physical abuse can benefit from assistance with:
