Educational Programs

    Life Skills

    Instructor: John Turk
    Twice a month on Thursdays during school year 4:30 — 5:30 PM

    This class for youth over twelve years of age is designed to foster an understanding of the hazards of drug and alcohol use, and assist participants in developing decisionmaking and other skills that will help them remain drug free.

    Too Good for Drugs

    Instructor: Pahoua Vang
    Twice a month during school year 5:30 — 6:00 PM

    30 minute age-appropriate and interactive ATODA prevention education sessions are offered to children under 13 years of age.

    Teens Against Tobacco

    Individual meeting times announced

    Youth leaders are recruited and trained to provide leadership to younger children, and teach them about the hazards of tobacco and other drugs.

    Homework Help

    Monday - Thursday 4:30 — 6:30 PM

    Individualized assistance with homework is available on a drop-in basis.
