The Southeast Asian Statewide Bilingual Crisis Hotline has been established since 1997. It is funded by the Office of Justice/Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). It is the only hotline throughout the state of Wisconsin that staffs professional Hmong bilingual persons to answer the phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The hotline provides:

  • Services on a statewide basis to Southeast Asian victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
  •  Information to those who are seeking information about culturally competent services throughout the state of Wisconsin.
  • Crisis intervention and safety planning
  • Counseling
  • Emergency referrals to shelters
  • Over the phone interpretation

All services are free and confidential.
